(I hope i'm asking on the right tread) Hi there! I was wondering if i was the only one with this problem :  The tech tree has vanished since i updated my AoTD package(tried twice), ctrl+T and accessing via colony UI doesn't work.  I even tried to load with Nex and no other mods and the problem persist.  Today ill be doing a fresh install of everything. Will keep you updated.  Thx in advance to anyone taking the time to read :)

**Update: Fresh install -> No change. Still cant open the tree :(**

It's been integrated with vanilla UI. Press "d" to open the command menu, there should be two new tabs after "Custom Production" tab, "Research" and "Megastructures". Also, there is a widget in the upper left portion of the screen while flying around (small vertical bar at the screen edge), click on that to expand it, it shows you current research progress and allows you to access the tech tree as well.

Im experiencing mass fps drop whenever i do a mass custom production order (over 30 orders of different items at the same time). The fps went away after the item get produced so it's not a prolonged thing but still.

disclaimer : im guessing this mod is the one causing this problem because it is the only one changing the way item production work.

And it seem like this only happen after the recent update, at least after the lib split.

I think I found a bug with the mod that is causing my game to crash. I'm not sure what is causing it and I can't replicate it. Sometimes it doesn't crash for hours, and other times it crashes right away. I belive thats is de AoTD thats causing the crash becouse is the only mod that apear in the log:

If I use Nexerelin to disable a vanilla faction, I get a game crash that says:

"data.kaysaar.aotd.vok.scripts.research.AoTDMainResearchManager.getSpecialficFac tionManger(com.fs.starfarer.api.campaign.FactionAPI)" is null. 

I tested several times to ensure that this was the action that caused the crash.

Had the same error just now. I had just captured a comm array and it triggered (I don't think that specifically had anything to do with it). Running Nex (and many others) and did the "own faction start". Looking at this error and my own, seems like it's something from the Virtues of Society modular since it appears to be some type of colony event.

Got a Null Pointer Exeption Crash from the VoS event "Miracle Seeds", third stage if having done further research and chooses to deploy the safe version.

figured out an incompatibility with Industrial Evolutions
the government system from IE will delete water demand so the colony will have a constant water shortage debuff regardless of the supply. even if you change back to vanilla government, the water demand wont come back. so avoid changing government if you have IE.
also Centralized Bureau from IE will not interact with any industries of AOTD, so might as well just disable it.

Ah, this explains why my new colony is trying to decivilize for no damn reason
I was wondering why literally everywhere had water shortages.

...I'm now wondering if this is why half the sector is decivilizing, but I don't THINK other factions use the alternate governments
Either way, this sucks

EDIT: So just changed the problem world back to default govenance and...STILL has the water shortages
Even with a million water I consoled in in the stockpile
HELP

EDIT2: And looked through all the config files, all the excel files, hoping that I could disable the water need entirely until a fix presents itself, but that is apparently not an editable thing in the mod :(

yeah most likely the code for the water demand is trigger at creating colony
then IE refresh all demands on government change ultimately overwriting and deleting water demand
so even if you change it back water demand doesnt come back, but there is still a constant check for stability so it still take water into account.

Regarding Questions of Loyalty module.

I'm being chased by a pirate fleet that wants to engage, however I'm also commissioned with the pirates.
When it reaches me, the only option I have is to open a comlink, or disengage with a story point. If I didn't have any story points, pretty sure I'd be locked there.

I think I'd prefer being allowed to attack fleets of the same faction. I've dug a little through the files to see if there was a config to enable it but didn't find any.

Hello,

I just got a crash with Ashes of the Domain, specifically with the Virtues of Society module. I got an event chain involving some biohazardous seeds, where I chose every "safe" option (study them instead of using them, pay to alter them, etc.). The game crashed when I clicked a decision in what I assume was the last event of the chain, where you can use the newly altered seeds to turn poor farmland into adequate farmland or just destroy the seeds anyway.

Hello, new to attempting to download and play AotD. I downloaded two modules to get a feel for it, and the required dependency file. I started with Virtues of Society and Question of Loyalty; however, I received a fatal error when loading the game, it revolved around being unable to load graphics I believe. I removed Virtues and the game loaded fine with Question. I might have missed it, but is there an incompatibility list perhaps? Or is there something else I should have done or not done? Thank you!

I'm only running Question of Loyalty and Virtues of Society (although... I'm not sure *why* I'm only running those two. Maybe the others weren't updated at the time this campaign started, maybe I just brain-farted and didn't download them), so it's probably one of those. I'll try some stupid hacky-things and see if I can make it work. If the game wants a respite40 file I'll try to give it one.

EDIT: I can confirm that it's in the Virtues of Society sub-mod. The getIcon method is in the EventHandlerIntel.class file of VoS' .jar file. And that method calls for "intel" and "respite40". I don't yet know how to fix it even just by providing it with some dummy file to use, but it's definitely VoS.

EDIT 2: Oh phew someone much smarter than me already solved it. Join Kaysaar's discord (link is on the AOTD website), search that discord for "respite40" and there's a thread for this exact bug. That thread includes an unofficial .jar you can download and replace within the mod folder which should fix it.

So where is Aquaculture? By default there is now only Tier 1 Fishery, but no research is added to upgrade it further to vanilla industry. Even though you still can get one with console commands (but you can't downgrade due to "API limitations"). Shouldn't it be availible with farming research just like normal farming is?

Should be at the bottom of the research tree, below Farming.
