That's not actually an asteroid belt.  Not all planetary rings have asteroids, that one is just dust rings.

Ishmara's sling simply allows you to fulfill the "requires water" condition for planets that are in the same system as the water world in question.

You can see what the conditions of a project is by mousing over it in the terraforming screen.

Something to consider: In the tech tree, Stellar Mirrors are locked behind both Terraforming Templates and Adv. Terraforming Templates, making Terraforming Templates have next to no actual benefit beyond allowing further research since Mirrors are needed for nearly all planet type changes.

Yo i have a question, is station construction only unlock after i progress the technology lv if i have ash of domain availaible, the one that have technology requirement.
Im asking since the previous version of this mod when running with the one i mention above don't require anything other resources to build the stations.

You have to research the specific station type in the TASC tech tree.

Genelab can get rid of pollution. It's in the description of the building.

Once the backlog is caught up with are there any plans involving the Gate Hauler?

It's a bit of a shame that it's removed from the game after placing 1 gate at the moment. If we could combine the mod's current gate construction with the gate hauler that would be neat.

Is anyone else having problems with alpha-core Chameleon not eliminating pather cells like they should? I'm running AoTD as well in case that's relevant.

Yeah I'm having that problem as well.  It removed the Pather cells for a while, then they came back, but now they're not going away.  Used to be that they'd pop up, get removed, pop back up, and get removed, but now they're just back and they're not getting removed, unless the timeframe between removals has been increased or something.

I'm not using AoTD, either, so it's not a problem with mod conflicts there.

I notice the Pathers came back after I'd loaded the game after changing some values in lunalib regarding the allowance of the construction of the cloning and hydroponics facilities, as well as the asteroid rings/fields values for ore richness, too.  That might've caused a bug.

We're getting all your work for free, the least we can give you is our patience.  Thanks for this mod, it's a great unofficial expansion to the base game.

Just a minor mod compatibility issue with AotD, but I think AI Mining Drones don't interact with the upgraded versions of mining industries. Not sure if it had always been this way.

I can't find a post from Evangel saying this is fixed, but I couldn't replicate the problem on TASC 9.0.7. If you're still experiencing this, can you please post a screenshot of the colony where it's not working?

I think there's a bug, Domed Cities has no effect on Perpetual Dust Storms from Unknown Skies.

EDIT: Also, is domain crafting disabled if you have Aotd installed? There's no craft options in the terraforming menu.

Got an issue where the CHAMELEON is not removing Pather cells, or rather they are removed and then immediately show up again a few days later, causing the Colony Crisis meter to progress.

Yes, I have an alpha core on the building.

Edit: Nevermind, updating MagicLib LunaLib and this mod fixed it. But on loading a save, they respawn...

I was unable to replicate this. Can you verify that the effected colony does not have an intermittent shortage of Domain-era artifacts? You can do this by adding a large number of them to storage, and enabling the "use resources from stockpile" option. If it still happens, can you please provide steps to replicate it (e.g. build a colony, set up CHAMELON with alpha core, reload a save)?

I think the station colors may be mislabeled.

Domed cities just cutting 95% of planetary defenses Is it right and suppose to work like that ?


Yes, Domed Cities is supposed to reduce ground defenses by 95%.
Isn't there even flavour text explaining why? Pretty sure i read that.

It does say "Grouping your entire population and industry into a few fragile domes makes the colony almost defenceless." in the flavour text yeah.

On another note. I remember a discussion I had once in this thread about being able to Terraform Volcanic planets who only has the Hot condition. I just found one of those planets again (they are exceptionally rare it seems...) and it made me think about the topic again.

Thanks to Evangel's changes, it will be easy to create custom terraforming rules to allow terraforming of volcanic planets if the player desires. Once I finish cleaning up all these bugs, I will try to work on creating an alternative terraforming rules file that's more permissive than the current default.

there is a bug with alkali planets not being able to be terraformed into water worlds  :)

Yeah, I think Unknown Skies planet types are not fully supported by the current terraforming logic. I will be working on adding this once I finish with the existing bugs that have been reported. Thanks for reporting this!

I have hydroponics disabled in Lunalib, but it's still buildable for me? Cloning facility doesn't have this issue.

Also I can build the genelab without researching it? (I have AOTD installed).
