For each save, I give the whole fleet a themed name, one was ISS BattleDrake, while another was ISS MotherDrake etc. Or in my newest save, each of the four ships was named after a horseman of the Apocalypse: Conquest, War, Death, Wrath, Fury, Pestilence etc.

So do you leave your ships with the default names? Make them nameless? I want to know

I usually go with a theme, this time im going with Pokemons. I also like names from the Roman era and the Sengoku Jihad. Names from Stargate is also a favorite for me.

Generally i like to name my ships after their role , my strike ships are named things like "ISS Thunder" "ISS Ram" , those that are designed to take punishment have names like "ISS Steel" "ISS Vanguard" . I guess it's less original than all the fancy names Erick made for his mod , but when you have a full fleet ot those , it makes for a pretty neat collection of names.

I usually name my ships things like "Sexeh " or Derpface, I remember in one playthrough. I had 2 tempests named RapierI and RapierII
Also I had a hyperion named the Chihuahua.

Seems like a nice theme to go after. Personally I'm fond of more regal names or titles, like duchess, lion, cardinal and so on.

Personally, I find it kindof entertaining to not name the ships - and restrict myself to a particular naming scheme anyway.  For example, my current run-through has a theme of "egyptian mythology", and features ships like the ISS Sebek (a purchased Conquest), and the crown jewel of my fleet, the TTS Hor-Hekenu, captured with hull mods intact - and thus the only ship in my fleet to feature hardened shields.
