How do i add inbuilt weapons to be able to be dropped as rare_bp
I have tried with the Firecane Artillery from SEEKER.
Tried adding it via console commands, but it never gives me the item. Always something else

That's not a function of the console, but defined by whatever mod the weapon comes from. Anything weapon tagged as "SYSTEM" can never appear as an individual item.

If you edit the mod to remove the tag, it can appear as a regular item and even as an individual BP.

Hi, this mod was working great for me until the last update. Since then every time i wanna open the screen by pressing ctrl + backspace Starsector just closes down entirely. Without any warnings or messages why. I've allready changed the versions in the .json file. Does anyone have a suggestion what could be causing the problem? Thanks either way

How does one spawn a intractable asteroid in a system? I am trying to make some planets with one of the DIY planet mods I have and I found a system full of asteroid belts but no intractable asteroid to make it work

New version of the game (0.97a-RC11) has made it so the mod need an update, just putting that out there.

The mod works just fine on vanilla v0.97a-RC11 as well as Java 23.

Is there a command allowing to "duplicate" a ship ?

And by this, I mean creating an exact replica of another ship in your fleet, with the same weapons/hullmods configuration. Including the build-in hullmods, and other upgrades the many mods provide.

It's sometimes tiring to have to redo a new save due to conflicts and malfunctions, and then having to seach for hours to complete once again that fleet configuration you enjoy so much.
And then losing all of it once again, and again.


I greatly enjoy this mod. I do not know what amount of work such a project demand from you, but it is very convenient, and I'm glad it's here.
I don't think I would have played the game for so long if it wasn't for it.

That would be the "cloneship" command from the Ship Browser mod by itBeABruhMoment. It's very convenient when you want to test out builds and fleets and such; you just need to create the ship once and then you can for example type "cloneship 8 6" into Console Commands which means to duplicate the 8th ship (in your fleet according to the fleet screen) 6 times, etc.

The command isn't perfect; for example, if you clone a ship with 3 s-mods, and then switch out of Best of the Best, the game will let you keep 3 s-mods on the cloned ships, not recognizing that they should have one of the s-mods removed. But it's pretty good for all intents and purposes when you want to try stuff out.

seconded the request for hyperspace topography points. i just don't feel like exploring the whole sector and grinding this every run.
