Author Topic: Fleet makes contact with another fleet - game doesnt pause - crash  (Read 375 times)

Im getting a weird crash where after destroying an automated artillery station any save game after that point will crash and if i run into an enemy fleet, the game wont pause on contact, my fleet will keep going and the game crashes.
Artillery station is of no significance, getting the same crash with a save game from before killing the station

Cant seem to notice anything pointing to which mod is causing this, but i suck at reading these logs

Anyways, im getting a database error every time i try to post the starsector.log so ive attached screenshots of the post preview

Can't say for sure from the log, but try updating ED Shipyard first.

Started a new playtrough with updated ED shipworks (2.5.5) some time ago, still getting the crash, kinda sucked out my joy of playing starsector as im trying to check out the colony mods but every time i reach that stage of the game i get crashes. Maybe ill do a playtrough without ED shipworks to see if this mod is the culprit, but i need a break from this game.

When i posted the crying emoji, this happened again on the new playtrough, but this time in hyperspace and the save leads to an instant crash now, and the save before that is 2 hours ago, hence im super bummed out, because i hate losing progress
Updated to 2.5.6 and tried loading the save - Nada, instant CTD

Might get the willpower to replay the 2 hours with the mid-game update to 2.5.6 to check if i can get a different result, but kinda feels like the definition of insanity with how its been going.
