Does anyone know what mod causes this crash ?

Did you remove or update any mods recently?
Or is this a new save?

If you update a mod, make sure to delete the mod folder completely first, then copy the new one in.
Also check if the updated Mods Changelogs; it'd might have deleted some things.

I was having a similar crash, which is UI related before combat when the game needs to load modular fits or something. It usually doesn't show up until mid game when you've saved a couple of loadouts and encountered modular ships and stations.

I didn't really figure it out, except I tried to avoid using fits for modular ships, and I haven't had a crash since. Others might know more though as I don't really understand it.

Delete any autofit variants you've created for modular ships (or make them non-prioritised in player faction doctrine, if you can get to that screen without crashing), yes.

This is a brand new save and all mods are fresh downloads

Will try this and just not use modular ships in player doctrine or making autofits for it, for clarity modular ships are the ones that have ie for example ships with armor pieces that can be clicked on ? like the Scy faction ship "Corocotta (armored) class heavy cruiser"

So far no crashes, have not touched any modular ships nor created autofits for them.

Crash happens early game,  I dont have any saved autofits with modular ships for my faction.

Modlist is.. well i added all the up-to-date mods from mod index, lol (except total conversion).

Could the game not crash in modular ships  case (in next version?) or maybe be more informative in log about what hull is responsible or whatever.

If you're using the Extra System Reloaded mod (though it's not on index), update to the latest version and use the esr_clearAllData console command.

Indeed was using it, already last version. Command didnt help, so I just removed the mod for now and started new save, thanks.
