My Favorite ship is the ISS Black Star, and of course the balanced destroyer is my favorite.

Least Favorite would have to be the Ephemeral from the predator or prey mission although i enjoy it in the mission you get to use it in.

IIRC, gauss cannons were small at the time... which wouldn't make much sense, because they're incredibly dangerous weapons.

Gauss cannons have always been large.

Anyway, the hardpoints in question are actually for energy weapons, so the hvel drivers are out too :p

Yeah the game doesn't currently make you adhere exactly to the hardpoint specs, ha ha.    You can edit the files to put anything in any slot currently, that'll be fixed in the real game in the refit screen of course.  Funny thing about that, is I bet we will be pretty surprised at the actual limitations, slot-wise, on some of the ships, I know I don't always adhere to the current specs myself, lol.
