Good god, Fragile Allegiance was awesome. Played that game to death. I still nuke Rigellians on sight. Bloody backstabbers.

Good to see the new faces too!

hey Dohon, looking at your pic and sig, I think you might agree that a 40k Battlefleet Gothic mod would be supperb, Iron Hands fan myself.

It would be a real treat, I can tell you that! Imagine Cobra Destroyers darting between Lunar Cruisers and Space Marine Battlebarges. Glorious! And it is always nice to meet a fellow WH40K fan. :)

I also came here from RPS and bought the game.  I have been looking for this sort of game for years.  Escape Velocity Nova was one of the most enjoyable games I ever played and I have been waiting for years for someone to make a game like it.

RPS was also my path to discovering this game, and I am glad that I decided to get in on the alpha.  Been having fun trying to complete the all the missions and attempting perfect score strategies.  Looking forward to the massive update and getting a feel for the campaign mode.  Also, as was stated somewhere, a demo would fantastic for trying to convince my friends to check the game out.

I began a thread on the RPS forums at some point last year. Didn't occur to me to email the staff in the hopes they'd post something. More people is a good thing!

I'm another person who bought after seeing this game. Already I've gotten my value out of it. Can't wait for the next release.

Wow, RPS really got this game a lot of new customers, it would appear. I was considering informing them of the game after 0.5a came out myself.

I'll admit, I popped an email to one of their writers back before Christmas.  No idea if that had any effect.

I figured SPAZ would be the only space based game that I would enjoy from small devs, and then RPS came along and linked to this. Personal wish that there were more games where you control a starship and not a fighter, and then two come along. :3

Bought the game after the article released, and while I haven't played enough to get used to everything, it was already a blast. Being much more tactical then the more arcadey design of SPAZ. And reading the planned new additions with an open campaign has me very excited. Even got me looking into the modding capability, which is rare. Now if I only know how to draw sprites...

Indeed, I have had that exact same thought!   ;D  lol

Btw, the thread below is very helpful in letting you messing around with even limited skill, it has allowed me to kinda/sorta mod a bit.   :)
