Custom ship with burn drive incapable of capture objectives

I have a heavy cruiser, deploying it and then sets it to capture an objective, he burn drives to get there (obviously) then he burn drives again and overshoots the objective, then he turns, moves towards it, and burn drives again, overshooting it again and repeats this until he dies or i win/lose, he never captures the objective.

Is this a problem with my ship or AI handling of burn drive not working properly?

Thanks for the report - bug in the burn drive AI, fixed it. It was supposed to be keeping track of whether it'd overshoot - and actually was, but was also activating burn drive there for an unrelated reason.
