Those are really cool!

The new colour scheme looks very nice on them and shading is much better than before.

Quite impressive how you improved your spriting skills I might add.

I recently played a Qualljom carrier fleet yet i don't recognize that big fighter on the far right on your last post.

Also, i love the new energy weapons you recently added, the ones used by the Kimil and the Lerdyn, so satisfying to use.

The heavy fighter you mentioned will be in the next update!

Right now I'm playtesting my new configurations and stats in random fleets missions, looks like qualljom is quite balanced.
Depends mostly on the mixture of crafts in the fleet, qualljom is strong with fighters but loses often when there are mainly frigates on the field.
Also the torp bombers sometimes score a own goal with a burned out torp. Qualljom ships have all this aft shield gap which can't be fully closed.
The AI also acts dumb and ignores imminent threats like missiles or bombers.

The "Jatai"-Beam-destroyer is not so easy to balance, he destroyes single frigates easily, but a 1on1 with anything bigger or with fighters and he's wrecked. Maybe I will give him some anti-shield-weaponry.
I just liked the idea of this just one big main gun, except some PD capability.

I wonder if there'll be problems on a Linux system...

only one way to find out!  ;D


Edit: S'all good so far, didn't have to change anything for it to run out of the box.

First time running it with normal set of mods had a small hiccup compiling, but after that one hiccup it's all good!

I like the Capital Ship, Very much worth the Money spent IMO.  (Not the one used for carrying troops and supplies. Combat one. ^^)
