Computer specs that matter
Spoiler
Win 7 Ult
Core i7 3930k
2x gtx 680 SLI
32gb ddr3 2400
HD game is on: PCI-E Revo drive
[close]

My personal comp which is also my work station for various tasks.
Game runs at 63fps @ 99% idle on a 120hz monitor for some reason. No problems with anything but windowed mode which quite possibly could be a driver issue based on the age of the cards. It's nothing I would consider a real "problem" though; just that all the interaction points are about 90 pixels above where they are supposed to be.

Love the game, hope to see great things in the future.

yoshi: I'm getting similar framerates to yours, especially in large battles. How do you even play the game? Anything lower than 30 is pretty much a dealbreaker for me.

Comp:

P4 2,4 Ghz
1G RAM
ATI Radeon HD3600 512 Mb
WinXP SP3

45 Fps @ 30-45% idle most of the time with resolution 1280x1024

Perfect performance for me.

Yet another computer
Dell XPS L702x
Quad Core i7 2630QM
3GB Nvidia GT555M
8GB RAM
Starfarer is on a 256GB SSD
I run this smoothly on an insane 2560x1440 (GLORIOUS!) roughly 63 FPS BUT! (haven't updated from 0.51a yet btw) whenever I enter a station, it drops to a fairly terrible amount of FPS (really slow), but this is probably related to the fact I have maybe edited my save game for over 2 billion creds.

As for GLORIOUS!! I can see so much now, tis insane

It may be because of having to randomly draw a menu over everything. Whenever I dock up with a station, my FPS drops from 40-60 to around 20. Same in battles, without the HUD being drawn, I must easily push 30FPS, however, I can't tell because the FPS indicator isn't drawn anymore.  :D

...nope, probably not. Battles run 60fps all the time.
