Hylecium Stargazers
Author: Protonus
Featured: The Stargazers are definitely Balancedâ„¢ in a way that only a few ships can already scare away a large fleet a few times fold. Very flux focused, with reliable flux related speed, high capacity and very reactive dissipation. Also has a minor faction on the side, would showcase if need be.Rough Lore:
Spoiler
An independent group that certainly got lucky on finding riches on a faraway star system outside the Persean sector. Such a system happens to be once a victim of a consistent pirate raid.
An awkward bunch of neurotic captains wanting to take score on one of the biggest threats in the sector. An unusual collective desire to throw themselves at the enemy, where most contacts from several major factions would rather have such captains clumped together. One day, this group was turned into a task force assigned to target one of the largest pirate strongholds in the Persean sector, Augustus Max.
This eccentric fleet of pioneers found themselves deep into hostile waters they ever wanted, bashing every pirate fleet they encounter only to discover that the system was held hostage by the pirates who set their foothold there.
With the stronghold fell, the task force dug deep into its ruins to uncover seemingly alien blueprints and a powerful nanoforge that were untouched by the raiders. Not wanting to lose such a big relief, the fleet ended their deal with their contractors, who happen to be the Luddic Church. Such trade was ended mutually, knowing that Augustus system was saved from the eternal struggle.
From that point on, the stronghold was rebuilt under the banner of its new protectors, the Hylecium Stargazers.

- Very high deployment presence and cost.
Growing roster of shroom-named ships:
Credits to:- To my sanity, holding on what little it has left.
- Probably the mushrooms, since I gave names based off these.
