I have a saved file, but the zip was too large to attach to my post.

I had two officers. They both levelled up at the same time. One to level 4, the other to level 3.

After selecting a skill for one officer and levelling them up (the one to level 4) I went to select a skill for my other officer and noticed that there were fewer skills to choose from now on the list.

I exited the screen, and went back to my refit screen and discovered that the other officer was now gone!

Thank you for the report! That sounds very strange.

The save you have, is it after the fact, or is this problem reproducible in the save? If it's after the fact, I don't think looking at the save would tell me anything, unfortunately, but if it's reproducible...

I was able to reproduce it just now.

I think the secret is using the ESC key. After levelling up my 1st officer (level 3 to 4), I pressed the escape key and afterwards my other officer was gone.

I was trying to reproduce it for a 3rd time, so I could provide detailed steps in the email and now... I cannot reproduce it!

I'll send you the email if I'm able to reproduce it. I can't figure out what has changed.
