Hi, that little bump in the flux bar that indicates hard flux level is barely if not at all visible. Maybe some color change in the little vertical line to make it show up better?

Man this was suggested so many times, and so long ago I forgot why it's still the same. I recall Alex mentioning something about colors (as in he wants to keep everything clean and not a rainbow), but the hard flux bar is kinda important. That may or may not have just been my imagination though.

It does not have to be different color if the dev's don't like it, just add a triangle on top of the little bar showing where the hard flux is.

I would make it a different colour, shade, or give it an outline. It would be good to have.

I would honestly do it with alpha, not color. Nettle's version looks close, but i'd actually do it like this:

That last one looks nearly the same as what we have now and is still a bit too hard to distinguish.  I can barely notice the different shade.

Yeah, Nettle’s is more obvious, though if the alpha option was even softer, it would also be fine. Point being, both would be more intuitive than current.

I did try to play around with opacity just now, but couldn't get satisfying results with the default color palette. You need to brighten up the whole HUD. Otherwise, the soft flux bar blends too hard into the void of space and becomes poorly visible, creating a new problem, or the change is so tiny it's not noticeable. I couldn't find the middle ground I was happy with.
If keeping the default color palette is the dealbreaker for Alex, I think adding some visually distinct elements (like angled lines) to one of the bars is an acceptable compromise.

Oh I see it now, you are changing the opacity of everything but the notch, not the flux bars themselves. My bad.

Yeah, must be an optical illusion because I thought the soft flux portion was more opaque. The bar itself being brighter is also fine but I think I prefer the soft flux portion standing out more.
