Scavenger Trading (v0.0.5)
Trade commodities with salvage fleets

A small mod to aid exploration and give you some reason for approaching salvage fleets.  Simply approach any salvage fleet (including scavengers and prospectors), and they should have commodities to swap with you.
  • Can be freely added or removed from saves
  • Nomadic Survival is another mod that enhances exploration

- removed an unnecessary dialog screen and fixed an UI issue
- bias fuel/supplies chance so you're more likely to get what you're short of

- number of sell/buy slots now is determined by total number of commodities
- fixed a bug when uneven buy/sell slots are specified
- show base price in trade option tooltip

- minor improvements to dialog
- changed java language to 7 from java 8; should fix the "Unsupported major.minor version 52.0" error

I like this idea! Id imagine it combos well with the existing mechanic of scavengers sometimes going pirate upon approach.

update v0.0.4

Just wanted to say thank you for all your hard work   ;)

I personally use: this one, More Bar Missions, Force Auto Resolve, and More Military Missions - so yes, almost all of them ;D (i have Nex, so don't need Pick Your Ship). They fit so nicely into vanilla-friendly experience!

A heads up, no clue if someone has already let you know but none of your mod-pages have actually working images (at least for me), the just show a google drive link or something but no actual images.

Having said that however, this is a mod that should definitely be implemented in the base game, I never understood the use of salvage fleets other than just filling the void and in the background maybe help with like colony resources for factions. This adds more use to them that adds that little bit more immersion imo.

Note that there won't be an update to this mod for 0.97a because it has been integrated into More Military Missions.  If you want this mod but not the other you can always update mod_info.json to 0.97a yourself and everything should work.
