==  EPTA CONSORTIUM  ==


On paper the Epta Consortium is a simple coalition of nomadic businessmen with perfectly above the board numbers, however, the back room is where Epta really exists. Any trained analyst will notice telltale signs of AI usage in their ship and weapon designs and, although the consortium publicly denounces AI usage, several members of their board of directors have written essays extolling its benefits and the potential of human AI coexistence. Should Hegemony inspection teams ever successfully manage to reach their hubship they would most likely find enough evidence of AI use to justify the company’s utter annihilation by the sector as a whole, however, its evasive movements have made such expeditions ineffective.

In the meantime some of the more AI neutral factions begrudgingly play along with Epta’s charade; Epta’s temporary storefronts stock goods that are difficult to obtain elsewhere and, despite AI and AI design usage officially being outlawed in the sector, the lure of power beyond human capability is often enough for factions to dispatch covert trade fleets to make shady dealings. Additionally, the consortium receives special considerations from specific titans of industry for their exceptional willingness to accept subcontracting jobs for projects that would otherwise be deemed too risky.

Epta boasts a diverse range of ships, from the nimble frigate hunter Selene, to the versatile conquest 7S that can fulfill nearly any capital role, to the jack of all trades Kataigida. Each ship typically has its own custom hullmod or ship system that one should familiarize themselves with (read, I know players have problems with this) before using.

Thx for the quick response! 

I wasn't playing with Epta Consortium in my current save so I backed it up, enable the new version of Epta and loaded in.  So far I'm not having any problems at all.  Epta is showing up as a new faction (Even had an alert under diplomacy in the intel tab about a new faction moving into the sector) and I've visited a tradebase and bought a Rhada.

I'll let u know if I have any problems.  If I do end up having to start a new save it's no problem.  I just started this one a few days ago.

Be sure to come back if there is something my friend! Also, Rhadas are the best choice for chasing botes as well, and has great potential in player hands, since you can convert hardflux to boost up the timeflow of the vessel, use this at your exploitation limits

Ship system of a destroyer, that reflect projectiles for a moment crashes the game when shield it got hit by missiles.
 New Mk.2 mech quite good after 2-3 smods wisth smg, mg, sniper but ship system that loads piersing shot on a sniper is useles it deals wery litle dmg(regular shot does much more ).Burst rifle strugle with armor, it takes ages if you run in to ships like dominator.
Btw new update is awesome. Ships are cool(spritew and gameplay).
Sorry if its hard to read. English not my language i can tanslate but cant write properly.

Ship system of a destroyer, that reflect projectiles for a moment crashes the game when shield it got hit by missiles.

Hiyo man, thanks for reporting this bug with Selene, can you send the crash log here? So we can find whats going on it. about the Zaku, gonna check out it ship system, and well, some weapons not works well against armor or shields, each weapon is better specialized for certain situations, so choice the one which fits better the situation.

Otherwise, glad to see that you are liking le mod, and also, my english as well is not that good lol

Can you please elaborate on what exactly causes this crash? Epta does not have very many custom explosion colors in it.
