Sure thing, if you want to, you can kinda base it off the Odin Guided Munitions Launcher, because it'd look kinda like that, but more high-tech and all that. :)

oh, and also, we are going to need sprites for the warhead of the weapon too, so, you can make it look like an mine that is comprised of an dark warhead (to symbolize the dark energy warhead) and all that. :)

If you need a reference for designing the sprite, here's the black hole generator in action (using a placeholder projectile):

The video lost a lot of detail in compression - if you view it at 720p, you can just barely see the particle effects of the core, and the outer rim is almost invisible. The hole is mainly dark blue/purple. Ignore the bright points that appear when the frigate gets sucked in, those are just where damage is being applied (visible for debug purposes).

They'd get sucked in and wiped out.

Remember, you cannot escape it ;)

Looks very cool. We'll have to end up using that as an placeholder sprite, and then revert to the original, to be used sprite once that ones is done. :)

quick(not quite...2am already dang :( ) and dirty (sure it is) placeholder is here

everything including the PSD, or layered transparent PNGs is uploaded here:
https://www.pixelapse.com/s/F4E67CGHKNTZ93Q

should be pretty easy to edit by mix diff layers
but definitely need some pixel work to make it looks ok in actual size instead of just resizing it

thanks a lot, the more balanced play is that the ship has no shield and weapon and only rely on the drone, after all it's a carrier :)

the problem is this kind of fleet is perfect to kill anything under cruiser, larger than that then i havn't been able to win...

Did you use the Planet "force" mechanic currently in game or used the impact methods but set it into negative?
