Some kind of evil demented crab perhaps, haha.

Yes. Some kind of evil demented crab, hell bent on killing everything. :D

BTW; reading creepypastas right now to get me in the mood for my next piece of lore - reading 666.exe in particular. They're not true, but you must have surely knew that. The believability in them all depends on how they're written. ;)

Here's the Harrier:

Edit: Also I'm not sure if it's a good idea to have two different styles on a faction.

Holy crap! As soon as i saw that harrier it made me smile! excellent work, mister! 10/10

But what do you mean with "Different styles"? It's all unified by having that plant-like substance all over it. It's to symbolize that no faction is safe from the infection ;)

Oh, TheHappyFace, mind if you make a Mining Station?  Base it roughly off of the station already in-game (graphics/station) and make it  a little bigger than the Onlsaught.  This is the Ferrus Mining Station, only in Mining Expeditionary Forces, it's a massive structure with four flight decks and many, many small and medium mount, mainly for PD.  There are a few large, located over each landing bay to provide security, and others are scattered evenly thoughout the station.  A big project, I don't blame you if you don't want to make it. ;D

Again, what are we going to do with the two different styles of the infected?

have them be different strains, like a virus has different strains

Wouldn't that be weird for a user that isn't reading any lore and all of a sudden see different styles for the same faction? Or would we illustrate it by having two factions one called Infection A and another called Infection B?
Edit: Wouldn't that mean that we would have to make double the amounts of infected ships?

nah, just do a similar thing like how the scourge are done, except make the infections different using special hull mods to differentiate the two strains

Ahh...excellent idea Sunfire.  Strain A of The Infection has certain properties, maybe heavier armor due to think plant growth (over all, better ships to take hits and slug it out) and Strain B of the Infection has stronger weapons (overall, better attacking ships).  And Sunfire, you're going to have to get a new banner for the WH soon, that one simply doesn't fit the image of them. ;D

I dunno if it's just me or if some of the infected ships seem a bit "busy" in the infectionish stuff. If you chuck too much stuff on them, then they won't really look infected, rather than whole new ships. For example a ship from Homeworld Cataclysm in the spoiler:

I chose that because the concept of the infection is rather similar to the Beast in Cataclysm, an infectious plague that converts both ship-mass and biological material into more of itself. Of course, this all is opinion, the ships themselves do look great, I just think that for the interests of being a subversive infection, the ships should still retain quite an amount of their own features, as it will
