Graphical Artifacts on Midline Medium Hardpoint Cover
« on: May 15, 2023, 09:21:01 PM »

Midline medium hardpoint covers have a graphical artifact in front of them when they take damage (or have the D-mod overlay)

A note that (at least for the damage "glow") this artifact disappears when zoomed further in, but when zoomed out it is clearly visible.

Weird! Thank you for the report, I've got it logged to get looked at.

Hmm - not seeing this happen on my end, using a Brawler and an Eagle for testing. Tried different rotations and zoom levels, nothing. And, per David, the cover sprite does not have any stray pixels. Will keep an eye out, though!

Strange, i'm able to consistently replicate this (with/without mods enabled) on anything with a medium midline hardpoint cover.
Maybe it's some chaos interaction with my specific hardware setup? :-\

Possibly! More likely something driver-related, though. (And, just tried it with a d-mod overlay *and* damage, just to make sure, still no dice.)
