Hey just wanted to let you know the veil of knowledge fight is impossible with vanilla balanced ships[...]
   

I will come in to counter that I finished it with Vanilla balanced ships. Granted it was not a clean victory (most of my ships were dead) but the bulk of the fighting was done with a Zigg, Radiant and a Paragon. After that I just dripfed in DP efficient cruisers and cleaned up. It's not impossible by any means, your fits might just suck. I haven't played with AoTD in ages but last time I did, the only other mods I had were Nex and Leading Pip/SpeedUp and I still completed the experimental tech tree.

Also still having the issues with the cryosleeper, where it doesn't seem to do anything. I get to select what system to send it to (not the planet mind, just the system), but then no options to build any additional buildings or options when i go to the sleeper. Actually have 2 of them floating in my system now.

Since it spawns on sector generation, it's always deterministic. There should be a breadcrumb leading to it though.

There is a quest that will lead you to the planet but I think you have to complete all research projects available to allow the mission to spawn.

hey uh i found another bug,when you clear out a pre collapse facility BUT leave before taking the blueprints'n stuff, then come back and try to take the blueprints, you will get softlocked because theres no option to leave and you cant get the spoils.very unpleasant! :'(
error code when trying to take the spoils :
ClassCastException:

Started building a research facility and my game is stuck crashing after a few seconds of playing. The facility is halfway done and I don't want to abandon this run cause of a bug :(

Hi Everyone, Last month i have asked for financial help(On my discord) , which of course i appreciate every bit I got, as mod development, especially of fourth module : Grave of Colossus is all together.
As you saw I had made very huge progress in those 2 months, basically creating  whole new area to explore, being core worlds of Orion Sector ( around  50-70  star systems)

I have spoken many times, that this module might be released around December. From codding perspective I can say that I actually could release it in next  2 months as campaign layer things like
Custom Hyperspace map, exploration stuff,  new industries etc are already done and all that is left is First Battlegroup ship codding .
But this is where we speak about only codding aspect

I came here, because I am asking for help, to retain current progress level I  need to commission more and more people simultaneously, which starts to become issue, given scope of my plans. Which are basically AoTD 3.0 at this point , as this is not only Grave of Colossus receiving things.

Vaults of Knowledge is gonna have full revamp in terms of sprites, Virtue of Society already have revamp in terms of writing ( next patch should be in few days )

What I am trying to say is, I am just kindly asking for your financial support, just like did month ago.
All I want is to release and continue developing mod , that not only people will be happy to play with, but also to release mod that me, as author will look with pride and joy.

I like the idea of these mods but the execution is pretty iffy, except the cryosleeper one.

Virtues of society seems to mostly be a you lose simulator where everything is just a negative and you dread the next popup because you know it's just gonna be something bad. Maybe I just got unlucky, but I definitely won't be using it again. Tbf the mod is marketed saying it emulates paradox event design, so I probably should've known better.

Vaults of knowledge is just bloated. I downloaded it for 2 reasons, #1 I liked the idea of an earlier tier of colony buildings to slow things down, and #2 because reserach packages sounded like they played into the strength of the colony system, which is the exploration aspect. Exploring around for research packages sounded like it would go well with how you already explore around for good planets with good market conditions, and the domain special items. Then I got in game and saw a boatload of new commodities, and all these new industry specializations and upgrades. Then later I saw that most of the new industry upgrades can't use domain special items, and even worse, a lot of the specializations don't even rely on market conditions, so basically exploration is worthless now except for finding research packages (okay it's not quite that bad), but idk it's just counterproductive design imo.

The cryosleeper module is good though, I've wanted this feature for years and I haven't run into any problems with the mod.
With first you probably were unlucky as there are more positive than negative events in terms of sheer numbers
2. I kinda see the point of it, the reason why vanilla items are not used is because you start to go to very EXTREME values, i wanted to solve that by introduction of Modular constructor which still requires domain items to be produced in first place.
With commodities this system is not yet done , for some it might seem as bloat, but i wanna expand on colonies to add more things you need to worry about. If this is not your cup of tea then okey, i dont target my mod to be for everyone.

The reason for advanced commodities is that player faction recives very high bonuses from them.

-Thanks to Myo all writing typos and misspelling has been fixed in Virtue of Society and Vaults of Knowledge
-fixed the nuclear option of Crime Syndicate event that it is not removing itself
-lowered days of instability from 600 to 350
-from now on Tectonic Disaster automatically removes Mantle Bores when fires for first time
-fixed problem with crime syndicate event firing on size 3 colonies, from now on fires on minimum size 4 colonies

This patch marks the end of all major gramma issues that were in aotd for very very long time.
Will you find some mistakes still ? Probably yes , but not in such quantity as it was before.
