You won't be able to refit fighters and bombers at all. They're designed/balanced around having a particular set of weapons and would be very broken if you could change it. Which ones you pick for your fleet -out of quite a few that are available- is the choice here, not how they're outfitted.

Wow! I thought the kind of person interested in a game like this would be older gamers remembering games like star control and master of orion! I'm glad this classic style is more timeless than I thought.

Hey, if something was attractive to someone some time ago, it's not unreasonable that people won't find it attractive in the future unless there's something clearly better. That's why Roguelikes are still reasonably active.

52 this November.  ;D

i used to play a multi-players game called Sniper/SubSpace eons ago which also used Newtonian physics for flying the ships.

i must congratulate Alex.
this is one of the very best game i have ever played.
