I wish that Babbage had actually gotten the computing revolution started for realz in the early 19th Century, instead of how it actually played much later out in the mid-20th Century.

Granted: Charles difference engine kick started the computer revolution back in 1823 altering the current timeline.  However in 1914 the World War was fought between an emergent AI and the Human race.  Since the total and utter defeat of the humans, we are now nothing but a expendable, replaceable component serving our robot masters.
