Sick of the Vanilla factions being Vanilla? Want to spice them? Ludd and Lions is the mod for you!

Adds unique hullmods to the Luddic Church, Sindarian Diktat, Pirates and Tri-Tachyon drones! What's that you say? The Diktat and Tach don't have unique ship skins? Well now they do! The Diktat get a full set of unique skins and those treacherous Tachyons have put out a new handful to "test fire" on the unsuspecting. We've also given The Ludds and Bloods a small boost to their vanilla fleets for your pleasure. And we're not done yet, believe me, there's plenty of torpedoes left in the tubes!

And while you're at it grab Kazeron Navarchy! It's free and completes the set so those Perseans don't feel left out.  Damn PeachPatrol, you sweet!

Do you like Luddic Enhancement, you better do, it's pretty much an essential. Well you can also get HOLY LUDD with your Ludd and Lions! Slap it on top and those essential Ludd Ships also become sanctified in his holy name. Hate Pathers? Think they've gone too far to crazy town? GOOD! Say goodbye to their frame crashing IED's, no longer will their fleets attack you through the 4th wall, but don't worry, you can still buy them for personal use if you're a sicko. Feels like a great way to add to the vanilla roster!

Two questions:
- Is this save-compatible?
- Are the ships added like Kazeron Navarchy where it's an independent variant?

Yes, you can add it to an existing save, just don't try to remove it after.

- Are the ships added like Kazeron Navarchy where it's an independent variant?

The hullmods are added on to all existing faction variants (except for Buffaloes and the TT Brawler).

The Lion's Guards and Tri-Tachyon ships are new variants.

I was looking at the OP pic and wondering why the Conquest was bothering me. Then I noticed that the LG ships in your mod are using the old WIP sprites from the defunct "The Lion's Guard" mod instead of the newer versions merged in SWP. Is there a particular reason for this?

To reduce the odds of drama, the original Lion's guard skins are now defunct whereas SWP is very much alive.

Minor Update 1.02.09:

Add TT skins.
Moved Mining Blaster and Mining Laser to Hybrid weapon type - there's no good reason why low tech ships shouldn't be able to mount basic mining equipment.

This feels very wrong. Plasma Jets is a distinctly high-tech system. If you want green engine plumes, it might be better to create a new variant of burn drive instead.

Also the Plasma Jets Luddic capitals are unbelievably obnoxious to fight against. There is a good goddamn reason the Onslaught only has a Burn Drive.

I know you were probably going for Green Engines, but the Plasma Jets were a gigantic mistake in an otherwise nifty mod. I'd really, really consider reverting them.

Also the Plasma Jets Luddic capitals are unbelievably obnoxious to fight against. There is a good goddamn reason the Onslaught only has a Burn Drive.

I know you were probably going for Green Engines, but the Plasma Jets were a gigantic mistake in an otherwise nifty mod. I'd really, really consider reverting them.

No worries, have reverted them for next version.

Unfortunately I've also cut the Liberator, which will kill save game compatibility. Fonzo disproved of me using it. The question was asked months back and I never heard back so I went ahead in his silence, an error of my judgement. Sorry. Update will be coming soontm.

I assume the same goes for all 3 of his ships you used?
