Hi, I'm from Argentina so sorry if I don't write well in English,
PLEASE , PLEASE!  is there any way to disable the constant beep / radio interference that sounds every time I do an action? It's driving me crazy and I have to play with the sound off if I play for more than an hour because I can't stand it, it's like radio interference and it's great at first but after a while it drives me crazy, it also sounds when I enter / exit pause in the game. so it is very easy for you to recognize it,

The only thing that I can think of that you could do is make a mod that would replace that sound with either nothing or at least a sound that would be fine with you. Sadly I have no idea of which sound file it is

Go to Starsector folder > starsector-core > data > config > setting.json

Open that up and change the line

"enableUIStaticNoise":true,

to false and that's it.
