It is a minor bug (if even it is...), even useful for me, but anyway:

There is an encounter in spacebar when faction officer telling you that they need to scrap a ship, but they can sell it to you instead. I encountered it today. They offered me a fresh Champion for 68k. It was really good offer, but i decided to save first. So, i left bar, left planet, saved, entered again, and the ship they offered became a Falcon instead of Champion. I left planet again, entered - another ship.

So, it turns out, there is a pool of ships you can get from this encounter (depends on faction, i guess...), and you can decline the offer and talk again until you get the ship you want.

Idk, maybe it is intended to work just like that, but my job is to report.

Thank you for the report! Hmm - this should've been fixed from hotfix -RC10 onwards; what version are you on?

Will saves work for RC12? Wanna complete my playthrough

If it's vanilla, it very much should - and worst-case, you could grab RC9 again and reinstall that.
