Do dismantled enhanced buildings still count against the story point cost increase?  I'm thinking of putting story points into a tech-mining industry (+25% findings).  The industry will eventually be dismantled and it isn't clear if the cost of further enhancements will stay after I dismantle it.

It's based off how many currently improved buildings you have, so you can safely improve it and then dismantle it later.

Thank you, though I think I made a mistake building tech mining first.

Month two on extensive ruins, with the 25% boost:

Month one didn't have much more, only giving an alpha core and a few common weapons.  What I'd normally expect from the first month on a scattered ruins planet....

Well an alpha core is worth an entire colony, so thats not too bad.

Sure, but that's what I'd expect out of scattered ruins, without any bonuses.  What happened to tech mining?  It's so bad now.
