0.9.5a questions without clogging up the patchnotes thrread
« on: November 27, 2020, 07:34:45 PM »

Will new Target Analysis provide bonus against stations? Or are they all considered frigates and not eligable for increased damage from it?
Has the AI gotten better at fighting stations?

Please say there will be more Derelict and [REDACTED] ships!

Do the Core systems have better ground and space defenses now?

Will we be able to order colony fleets to attack discovered Pirate & Luddic Path bases so that we don't have to dedicate ourselves to playing whack-a-mole?

Colony fleets aren't even going to be in 0.9.5a.

That wasn't annoying in Spore at all, surely it'll be loved in 0.9.5a. Where the players babysitting will be made harder. Assuming this is correct.

Do not worry, Alex is definitely adding it. Why else would there be a fleets tab?
Just not in 0.9.5a, unless he is doing it right now.

Public Suggestion :
When 0.95 does come out, change the folder name of the 0.91 installation first.
Then make a shortcut specifically for the 0.91 launcher.
This will allow both of the versions to be played at different times.

Whats the point?
All the mods you've installed to 0.91 are highly likely to break with 0.95. This plan allows you to play the old while you test the new. (and crash)

I don't think many people will keep playing 9.1 after 9.5 drops. Some quality of life improvements might make it too painful to go back.

Indeed, there are some huge steps forward in QoL changes. Lol reading them makes me not wanna play the current version and I have no other options.

Of course there are all kinds of people. Some people would rather wait until their favorite mod is compatible before a new campaign.
