So I can't edit hullmods correctly

So I googled a few threads on editing vanilla hullmods but no matter what I try I always get a crash when the game finishes loading. I made sure the csv file pointed to the file. Trying to edit expandedcargohold to something absurd.

Posting the contents of what you are trying to edit would help.

It is probably a syntax error.

What error you are specifically getting might also help to troubleshoot.
