I have extensively playtested this mod for two months (03/2020-05/2020) with an absurd mod list (127) and found it is unbalanced up UNTIL adding one specific mod.
Hyperion ships is a good balance if not turntable against this mod's ships and weapons, proving a worthy opponent for this mod's ships and more so weapons. This is proven due to the mod's OP use of phase pieces on every Hyperion vessel that does NOT generate flux. They are generally hard to take down due to it normally, if not impossible in some regards. Your ships are hard nuts to crack just by armor, which I like about your ships. Your guns are "Perfectly Balanced" by The Spiffing Brit's standards, but they fit the lore quite well. When some missile based ships are combined with the ICBMs of certain Yuri mods, or hive drones from certain Coalition mods, or simply use swarm missile launchers, it is a glorious fire show to watch. Of course, that's all in theory as the last batch I mentioned was done in ship testing rather than anything else.
Though I love how unique your ship scaling is, it's refreshing to see the sheer size difference between the ships and the individual fighters/support craft that zoom around the large slow ship. They fit in the whole idea of being one man or two-man craft that are supposed to be fast, I also love how they stay in formation until they break formation during the first salvo of their gun runs.
I recommend this mod 100% if Hyperion systems are involved, and 60% if you want to make pirates very hard to combat. That I also like; the pirates use these ships and become an actual threat now.
