now I have a unique problem that I'm struggling to fix...

I play starsector on both mac and windows and its a blast to play

but I have a simple yet annoying problem, whenever I play on mac the game screen and UI are perfect but whenever I try to play on my
bootcamped windows the game screen and UI become really small and not comfortable

so if anyone has an idea on how to fix this ill be very thankful

Hi - what's your monitor's native resolution? If it's a 4k monitor, I'd recommend playing it in fullscreen mode at half the native resolution. I'm not really sure why it wouldn't be the same in Mac OS, though.

(There'll be proper 4k support in the next release, btw.)

my screens resolution is 2880x1800

I'm not sure if the problem is from the game or my monitor's res or from my bootcamped windows ...

probably a mix of all lol

Yeah, it's hard to say without seeing what you're seeing. What's surprising to me is that it's fine on OS X. Are you running it at the same resolution in both cases? This just doesn't make a lot of sense, hmm.

yeah, I ran the same resolution on both os and windows but for some reason its really wonky on windows.

I tried to change to a different resolution on my monitor then start the game but it's still too small for comfort and UI is tiny too.

I think my problem stems from bootcamp itself, so not much to fix there I suppose lol

That might help, yeah - screenshots of it running at the same resolution on both, but looking different. Since offhand, that seems, well, nearly impossible

No worries. Ah, ok, I see - it looks like your OS X desktop is probably running at a lower resolution than your windows one. If you check the "fullscreen" checkbox in the launcher on windows, that should do the job and run the game at the same size as you're seeing in OS X.
