Deleting saves doesn't delete

Having two different saves, if you delete one, it will still be there when you come back.  Curiously, can delete a third one.

Hmm. You wouldn't happen to have that directory open elsewhere, would you? That would prevent its deletion.

No, I've seen this, too. Sometimes it takes a try or two to delete a file.

It seems to happen more if you are actually playing the save you are trying to delete.

I've noticed this once while I was modding. I had 2 savegames, 1 of which was just for testing mod changes. I removed that 1 file, and then later when I went to the load menu it was there again. Trying to load it gave me an error, but sadly I have cleared the log since (it doesn't help having a log file that takes a minute to load if you're debugging!) so I don't know what error that was.

Also, the file wasn't open anywhere.

Okay, I deleted the file from the main screen and it is gone.  If deleted while in the game playing and use the esc screen, it would show the file being deleted then it would come right back.  This is not the same file being played.

The game prevents some files from being deleted while in session?  The esc delete doesn't parse the same as main screen?

Ahh, thank you for pinning that down. Fixed! (still not sure why it was one and not the other, but being able to reproduce it reliably helped)
