Why did "Planet Value Intel" get switched to "Survey Class"

Intel planet list: replaced "value" column with planet survey class

I sort of liked ranking and seeing the different values based on that (I guess unitless) number.  Was it done just to simplify the understanding of that column and better tie it in with the rest of the campaign data?  That would make sense, I just slightly miss it, and was wondering if anyone else had similar thoughts.
