What version of the game are you running? It sounds like you might be on 0.8.1a rather than 0.9.1a.

Once again, not seeing a screenshot makes it much more difficult to try to figure this out.

I figured it out. btw I did upload a screenshot. I was playing an older version without realizing it. I updated and everything is good.
