So this may be a rather dumb question, i don't recall if i bought the game a while ago i might have just downloaded the game, but i can not open it and even glancing over the forms a little couldn't get the bat version to open as Alex had suggested before.

Do i need to buy it first to get it to open? Or is this a legit problem, no offense if i can not get it to open i kinda wont want to buy it XD. (edit: I have it for windows)

Hi - can you try running the bat file from the command line? That should give you an error message that indicates what the problem.

*Usually* this happens because your system has a _JAVA_OPTIONS or JAVA_OPTIONS environment variable set, and the solution is to delete it.

Yep, thank you - this is indeed an issue with _JAVA_OPTIONS being set in your environment, overriding the options the game needs to set. Assuming you've got windows 10, this is how you'd go about removing that variable:

Open the Start Search, type in “env”, and choose “Edit the system environment variables”:
Click the “Environment Variables…” button.

It may be under User or System variables, or possibly both - just remove it from either, wherever you see it.

Such a silly issue XD But it opened asking for a code haha, i have no clue if i bought it before, no way you could check for me is there? if not ill assume i havent and buy it in a few days when i can afford it (paycheck is in that time )
