What is this
I was playing an industrial run and realized it felt really out of character to go explore or raid for blueprints
So this mods adds a research facility which is a colony building similar to tech mining except it gives you blueprints at the end of each month instead.
This is a quite bare bones early version but it does work, but feedback is very appreciated, especially balance-related feedback, this might be to strong
Like most other mods, you can add this to an ongoing save, but not remove it



Maybe future ideas
  • Some type of system to prioritize specific blueprints
  • Upgradeable
  • Instead of just picking random blueprints, use some type of point system

Nice mod!
Honestly i've been looking around for something like this!
Going to add it to my current playthrough and see if it is really op.

Edit: definitely way to OP, it needs to be much more pricey and i think it would be the best if it would take an industry slot. It would be nice if the amount of the blueprints was dependant on something, maybe the amount of fights/wrecks in the system. I saw something like this in one of big mods, i think it was with production through restoration docks.
