Where can i buy Odyssey?

Is it a Tri Tachyon ship?

Can it spawn in black or open market?

Tri-Tachyon seems badly underdeveloped in 0.9 - their military worlds have too low population. Never seen them sell any Capitals despite having commission.
I did salvage one in bounty fight and found it's blueprint though.

Go to their bar and invest the random guys asking for 200k or so. If they fail to return the money, you'll get HUGE rep boost.

Just wait for TC bounties for traitors or something, usually they will have one of three high tech capitals that you can salvage.

That or camp at your colony when a high-tech expedition fleet wants to set your industries on fire.

Curious if spawn code is still a little off, or if i've just had weird luck. Some of them you don't expect to see very often, but, i've caught an Onslaught (D) in Jangala once or twice, so...

I've noticed this as well. Tried to find a Medusa to no avail, I wonder if it's a bug.

I found a single Medusa in one of my games. Only to find out that there weren't any decent weapons to fit... I found an Odyssey Blueprint in my current game (lucky me!) and I'm currently in the process of building one. Curious how that comes out. One other game I found a High Tech blueprint pack, but the everything else in that game was a total mess so I abandoned it.

Generally I agree that High-Tech is now very hard to come by until you get blueprints and build them yourself, but I think that is by design. At least it forces me to play some other ships for a change.

I constantly play low-tech and midline because they are far more common and generally more effective than high-tech in fleet battles because ballistics are better than energy weapons.

I wish high-tech was more common, and their blueprint pack gave more than the meager list compared to low-tech and midline packs.

If you raid the Tri-Tachyon base 'Culaan Starforge', you can steal blueprints from them. I had a lucky raid and got Medusa, Hyperion, and Odyssey in one go.

It has to be that base, because that's the one with their Orbital Works. If you take their Corrupted Nanoforge, it also makes their fleets have more D-mods in the future.

I'm loving the interconnectedness of the economics; Sindria attacked my colony because I was a competing Fuel producer. So I sneaked up to Sindria with my transponder off, blew up their starbase, and then raided them to steal their nanoforge and their synchrotron core. Now I have an even larger share of the fuel market, and their future attacks are weaker!
