There's a lot of "names from various mythologies" stuff. Is this one particularly offensive? Didn't get that just now from reading the wikipedia page, but of course I don't have much context.

I might not know my own culture as well as I thought I have =D Every time I've heard these words used, it was as an invective, never knew the background for it.

I can see how the “demon” was used as an invective. It’s about a man who “turns into a pig demon by black magic and then burgles houses”.

“Effing pig” is about right

Edit: My House was burgled! Jim how did you get all my stuff!?!? “Oh, this stuff is yours? It fell of the back of a pig demon that passed by my house”
