Question about weapons

Okay so I have my little ship with some phasers ive been tweaking around with the values in the .csv file to try and get them to fire in bursts rather than constantly on. Does anyone know how I can achieve this? I cant seem to figure out how to do it :-/

You might want to have a look at the Burst PD Laser or Guardian PD Laser in the default weapons.csv file. It has to do with the burst duration and stuff.

And also you can controll it by manipulating with the charge up and down variables
