Hi, I have not been on the forums or played in quite a while after being a little burnt out from the game... but I'm back and willing to try again..

So I tried to launch the game, and it managed but all that stayed on the screen was a white screen and eventually main menu music started.

I tried starting with the starsector.bat file but that had the same outcome... any ideas?

Hi - hmm. I'd suggest, in the following order, to see if each helps:

1) reboot
2) clean reinstall of the game (delete the folder after saving off you anything you care about in mods/saves/screenshots)
3) update your graphics drivers

Thanks for your help, I managed to figure out that It was either my Windows 10 system needed an update...

OR

I needed to disable the ingame overlay from the Evolve client...

could have been either of the two ^^

Ok, cool - glad you got it working! I'll keep the Evolve thing in mind in case someone else has the same issue, good to know.

Yeah I had to use it to get Multiplayer working for Risk of Rain aha
