Can we get a config option to increase the size of the portraits in the "officer chatter box"? Like a "Large Portraits" option.

Since it's only for officer chatter, I'd love for the portraits to be larger so we can see the portraits clearly especially for larger resolutions.

Also, if possible, could we get a config option to display all officer chatter (including low priority ones) in the chatter box?

Right now a lot of officer chatter is only displayed in the floating text above the ship, but I'd love for an option to see all chatter in the chatter box for officers.

What's the difference between "retreat" and "running" in characters configs? I can't quite figure it out logically, when they proc.

Second question: I've seen the $playerHonorifics flag, is there a something like $playersName?

'retreat' message plays on an escape scenario or a Full Retreat order; 'running' is if the specific ship has a retreat order.

There's a list of substitution tokens including player name (for current release 1.14.1) here.
Next version will add more tokens, including faction names and addressing the fleet commander if it's not the player.

* Add config options to resize chatter box portrait and font
* Replace most cases of "sir" in dialog lines with the commander's honorific (including non-player commanders)

Hi, I just want to show my appreciation, this has been one of the first mod I've downloaded in 2019 and I have never (and never will) play SS without it. It's an absolute must have that honestly should be baked into the base game, it just simply gives life to the game in a way few mods do.

The code substitutes $commanderHonorific with getHonorific(person) instead of getHonorific(commander), meaning it uses the speaking officer's honorific instead of the commander's.

I feel so dumb but I forgot what file to edit to change what character personality things (like "meme") are allowed to be picked from

EDIT: Wow incredible I missed the config file sitting right in the main mod folder...

I've quickly replaced the uploaded .zip file (on GitHub and Nexus) with a new .jar that should fix the commander honorific substitution; for anyone who doesn't want to redownload the whole archive you can get it here.

(It was actually already fixed pre-release, apparently I just forgot to recompile, RIP in pieces)
