Been playing this game for like three years now. Since I downloaded it I have loved it. The amount of hours I've put in this game is....well silly.

Features, content, combat and other gameplay have come ALONG way. I had an OLD copy from like late 2012. and fired it up and laughed at the great progress that has happened since. It was like one star system three planets two stations. Fuel was useless, and there was no trade.  heh....

What I've noticed is the sounds. With the recent versions, the sounds of the individual cargo, the crisp click of mouse over. Combat sounds, bulkheads buckling sound upon disablement/destroyed. The Audio is really great and is much enjoyed.

The UI, it easy and informative. Fine jobs guys FINE JOB.

Modders! I've have played just about every mod made for SC. From the TC's to the smalls mods. Great jobs and I thank you for it!

They ping you, while right next to you near a jump gate or the like. during the "scan" a friggin enemy armada flies right twards you and engages YOU!

Or you give chase to an enemy fleet that just recked a "friendly" fleet, and the recked fleets stops your pursuit to toll you.....

Love the steady progression. I play this TC allot on my laptop while in between classes, or on lunch at work. since it doesn't use all the shader libs and such my LT runs it just fine.

changed false to true?

taken strait from the section:

   "rareShips":false, # Also go into settings.json and un-comment the items under "Expensive Ships"

my game from last version works and was randomized, tried a new game (under 2.7+) with new method of playing in mind.....won't randomize..... ???

I also uncheck and remove old versions in mods folder before updating.

I've started a new game. But the stars are not randomized, though I "true" the random setting in notepad. this is with the newest vers.

any ideas?

ok forgive me for being dense...but how do I "uncomment" the expensive ships...I removed the # in front of the "expensive ships" but nothing changed in game. Then I removed both the # (front and rear) and the game would'nt start. so I put them back game how do I get that working?

Never mind....reread it all good!!
