1:Toolbar ability to toggle usage of volatiles for ND.
2:ND no longer requires volatiles by default but using them eliminates false positives.

In future versions, will players benefit more than they currently do for having good relations with a faction? Or should players just satbomb anyone who isn't an Indie like right now  :P?

Suggestions / ships.csv Tags for AI behaviour

Since it's better to pilot some ships in some ways than others....

An example: the ARMORTANK tag. Ships with this tag are more accepting of hull and armor damage, and willing to turn off their shields at at a lower flux percentage than those without. Good tag to assign to Onslaught and Dominator, not so much with Gryphon or Shrike.

There can be more tags. Preferred engage range, tendency to execute irregular movements, moving back from the front when missiles are spent, sticking close to friendlies vs staying far away from them (phaseships!).... alot more of them not just for vanilla ships but also for modders to play with too!.

A booster item like Nanoforges and Synchrotrons, they can be assigned to a commodity-producing industry (except the ones which produce crew or marines)  to make it act as if the planet size is one step higher.

Dropped from ruins, domain orbitals, derelict mother ships, [REDACTED] stations and TT planets (TT has them assigned to their industries!)

Attracts pathers.

Will new Target Analysis provide bonus against stations? Or are they all considered frigates and not eligable for increased damage from it?
Has the AI gotten better at fighting stations?

Please say there will be more Derelict and [REDACTED] ships!

Do the Core systems have better ground and space defenses now?

  • Being able to make peace with factions... after beating them to a pulp (exhaustion system)
  • Permanently reducing a faction's warmaking ability through contacts, story points and precision attacks or just straight up satbombing them. Ways to stop factions from sending fleets without completely destroying them
  • More, new uses for reputation, now that contacts are a thing

This is for players who want to stick it to the Hegemony by destroying Eventide's Mirrors,

Edit: The penalty applies only to planets/colonies which are larger than Size 5

If a core world of Size > 6 gets destroyed, your colonies can finally grow to that size.
In case of destruction of multiple Size > 6 core worlds, your colonies can grow to the size of largest destroyed core world.

This is the perfect idea for going above size 6!  :P

Outside the core region, player should run into fleets doing missions, whether bounty hunting/base killing/surveying/analysing derelicts.
