@arc
Thank you for your response. It was concise and informative. Very much appreciated. And yes, I get antsy about those sorts of things. I've got quite a few games I've 'Pre-Ordered' or helped 'Kickstart' and I'd like more of a return on that money already spent. But it's not Alex's fault that other developers frustrate me(..pointing at you Starbound). At least he's got something released and updates it.
@Modest
Thank you for your reply, opinion and the information. You were right, I kept thinking about it. But it no longer matters. Read below to see why. But I'd like to point out I absolutely do not care about multi-player. The games I love are either single player or sandbox(single player).
@gunneyfreak
Thank you very much for the reply gunny. Wish I had read that 10 minutes ago. 2-3 months between patch's is a bit too long in opinion. I would have taken your advise.
But the fact is, I read some more(kept thinking about it as I said above) and found faiters LP vids. After watching the 3 ep's for the new version, I got 'overly excited' and bought the game. So I'm off the fence. However, it's not my fault. My damned credit card, upon seeing the LP's, jumped out of my wallet and began laying down covering/harassment fire. It simply wouldn't stop until I clicked the 'Preorder Now' button...
@Alex
Thanks for the game, though I haven't tried it just yet. It just finished installing so I'll be heading over there('over there'? lol).. next. But please, let that 8 month hiatus be the exception to the rule. For instance, I'd VERY much like other means to make a living than just attacking and killing things. In fact, and this should probably be in a 'suggestions' thread, I'd recommend not worrying about making it easier for new players. Instead make it so when you 'die' with your last ship you go into a 'mini game' where you serve with some npc's fleet to earn enough for repairs or new ship purchase's and such... Or maybe not. lol
