Bug Reports & Support / Enemy fighters heading off-map during player retreats

Noticed something strange while I was disengaging. I started in the middle of the map, as normal, and i had several enemy pirates ships to my rear, mostly their destroyers. Their fighters and frigates(presumably) started to the north and sides of my position. I noticed this and, seeing a tactical opportunity that I most certainly have not been exploiting in order to defeat more powerful forces, decided to engage and destroy their ships to the south. After that's done, however, I head up north in order to take out their fighters and frigates, only to find that the fighters have gone way up, beyond the northern border of the map. In my case, they were several thousand meters beyond what my ships could reach normally. Thankfully, i also noticed that while hounds or other frigate-sized or bigger ships do try to go to follow the fighters off the map, they are correctly prevented from doing so by the invisible wall.
Tested this multiple times, and it seems fairly consistent. Has anyone else experienced this?
