Hi there,

Just a question about hyperspace storm (it may be already asked - sorry if it's the case) : would it be possible to exit from hyperspace like in any other games & films ?  because hyperspace take a lot of fuel to maintain but if you are stuck in a storm you should be able to get out and prevent lack of fuel ? (by the way once you no longer have fuel to substain hyperspace, ships should "fall" into normal space... then being in the deep space with nothing around and then after a while try to activate once again hyperspace...

What do you think about that ?

I know it will introduce lot of gameplay changes while starsector mixe 2 concepts :
- whormhole entry (with gravity pit for entrance and exit)
- free navigation in hyperspace (not wormhole way between a point to another)

With this new way of work, it could introduce new gameplay opportunities... and events (fuel rescue team to a fleet, strike an ennemy fleet stuck in the middle of nowhere, trying to escape hunting fleet....)

Fly safe commanders :-)

Quiet a good question !

Making teaser stuff like video, mission with severals prototype releases or making spoiler section... at the end both can be done in the same time with may be some incoming contents with the spoiler making of section...

Just finish to play bully mission, impressive fine tuning on the balanced power, rendering and weapons effects !!! with at the end the "split" effect that makes your mod so special ;-)

Hi there,

I had dowload your shaderlib but I still not have any effect like distortion effect when hitting a shield  and so on...

My config...
- JRE 64
- cpu intel 4790
- 16 go ram
- nvidia 970gtx 4go (msi gaming 4g)
- win 7 64

mod is correctly selected and seems to be ok on version checker...

Any clues ? do I have to upload a log file somewhere for accurate analysis ?

Hi ALex,

You're totally right it does not add any value to have 3 screens. This is just something once you ve got then, plying in fullscreen is more immersive than playing in windows mode on one screen and the two others with windows desktop in the background... by the way is it possible to setup borderless option somewhere because otherwise I could not see buttons on the screen bottom

Talking about "new" way of playing top down game like Starsector... I remember total annihilation 2 (supreme commander) which brings option once you've got 2 screens to have map view on the second one and battle view on the first one... and the third one could be something about the detail status of the current selected ship :-)

Anyway, I really understand that you should have plenty of new features in the list queue more usefull than this optional one ;-)



Yes for a game like ED the experience is completly enhanced :-) it sounds like a full size cockpit according the screen size...

Hi Alex and the community,

Follower since about 3 years, I enjoy playing starsector and discover new enhancements and new gameplay on each release !

Six months ago, I had the chance to setup a triple screen on my PC to play games like Elite Dangerous in ultra wide screen (NVIDIA Surround 5980x1080)... and by the way Starsector too :-) my two favorites games at the moment ... and stasector works pefectly :-) but...



Then, would it be possible to make few GUI upates in the game to "optimize" button positions ??? their are on each side of the screen but when you have 3x40 inchs screen... you have to look on the edge of left and right screens ... which is... unconfortable... my proposal would be to let them on the egde but on the central screen ;-) even if we still use left and right screen to see wide battlefield...

Just a BIG thank to the author(s) of this MOD !!! Impressive works on behavior, rendering, weapons and so on !!!! Keep up this awesome work !

Now, I have only one focus, improve my skills/fleets/weapons config to match at least Knight templar fleets and with luck retrieve some of their ships ;-)
