One of the factions managed to squeeze in between the stations' destruction, started a landing operation, and successfully re-captured the colony from the pirates.
But its fleets continued fighting - now their own - orbital station )

The planet uses an automated space station industry, but a regular one, not of the TASC's Autonomous AI Battlestation.
But the TASC mod is present and activated for the game.

To turn on Dev mode go to this directory Starsector\starsector-core\data\config\ and open the settings.json file.  Near the top, find "devmode=false" and change it to "devmode=true".

Also, you have a huge resolution for the screen. Try to downgrade it a level, and check the overall performance.

Greetings to all the community!
I am facing a bug atm. I had a rebellion in one of my colonies, resulting in it being transferred under pirates.
Now I'm trying to fight it back. For that, I have to destroy the Orbital station guarding the planet. But, just after destroying it and looting through the wreckage, I see a brand new shining orbital station guarding the same planet. It pisses me off greatly.
Please advise which logs I should attach to the message to give anyone a clear understanding of the issue.

Those AI ships really look like they were made by AI =) they're the most effective from all automated ships introduced in the game.

Well, not that obsolete
The most valued part of this awesome document is not the game mechanics explanation, but the plot and story behind the game.
History of each faction, their principles, and goals explained are awesomely immersive.
There still seem to be a space to grow and discover =)
Loke those sci-fi books from the WH40K universe, this manual is a very important part of the lore and storyline of the game.
I was always missing this info, this "juice" and essence, in the main game.

Thanks to some modders, who spent their time developing new features and descriptions for the planets, stars, and factions, I've been spending hours reading about the specific planets and their history.
The universe is so huge, and diverse. We should have that joy of rediscovering the history of mankind's future.
And please leave some chances for ALIEN SPECIES to be found in the Starsector.

It's kinda hard to screen shot it, mainly because as soon as the window is dragged down, it snaps straight back up again.
I can show you a screen shot of how the UI is clipped, but would that be useful to you(I don't think that's what you're looking for though)?

you can do a screenshot by pressing the Cmmnd+Shift+3.
It will take a whole-screen capture and will put the image to your desktop (by default).

Have the same issue when unable to switch from SF to other windows.
It sort of lives its own life, apart from the system. I mean, when I quit the game, my macbook pro (2015, mac OS 10.12, 16 gb ram), I'm facing a lock screen, asking for my password, as if I'd left my computer idle for 5 min.

Hello there
Erick, thank you for that collection ) Its awesome
But I've got an issue -  my saves doesn't work.
I've downloaded from the first page of that thread, and activated all the modes at once.
I can start the game nice, in 1440 px resolution, and can do save, but when I'm trying to download the save, it gives me the error.
Please advice. thanks
