i thought that wasnt possible
it is pretty logical since higher resolution will not make it more detailed since the zoom is limited.
i dont really know 100% sure if i am right , but if you look at the vanilla sprites the resolution equall to the size.
(so something with twice as much pixels is twice as big).
if you would still change the resolution after the picture is created it will get blurry even if
a program, code or whatever would do it.

oww no, maffo are you also saying that.
hi-res sprites dont exist.
if i make them "hi-res" then there just bigger.
so if i make my frigate really high res than the game will show it as the size of a capital ship.

I hope you all dont mind i organized the ship sprite folder in dropbox a bit.
while i was adding my ships.

i am making a space monster sprite. does any1 had a good idea for this?

We tried to make something with heat to do, we came up with a concept of a missle that sticks to a ship and through heating induction would melt the ships armor for the following 20 seconds or so.
Sadly we couldn't make it in-game.

anyone need a ride to the end of the universe?

the "pal" transporter is a cruiser similar to the apogee.
it is used for long explorations and travels.
it is not commonly used by mercenary due to the few mounts and
its missing a shield generator.
this is partly compensated by his high armor.
the engines of this ship ain't mend to be quick.
there are made for long range.
it has a hangar and a repair platform for fighters to give it a bit extra firepower.

its commonly used for exploration, transport of civilians and high value cargo.
and most of the time assisted by broad swords or multirole fighters.

(i made it due to a post that asked for more weak ships to raid.)

hmm, i dont know. not really confinced . my reasoning tells me it cant,
but maybe i schouldn't  listen to it. :\
(it tells me that space had the minimum temperature cause there is nothing there combining that with the fact that all metals are known to easily heat and cool. so it would quickly cool down in space.)

 i maybe know a good one. an acid spray
