Lately I've got back into starsector, I notice that you seem to gain credits like 10X fsater than you used to. I do a few battles with my starting frig and I have enough for a cruiser. I don't know if the credit ratio has been changed or I am just lucky but either way I don't have to play for very long to get  quite a decent fleet. Although this is fun it also means that you get to a point where you can destroy anything with ease. Anyone else feeling this or am crazy?  ;D

I started out a knew campaign with a wolf. After killing off lashers and buffaloes for a while I added a Hammerhead to my fleet. I went into a battle against a lasher with a talon wing. I orderd the wolf to intercept the lasher but instead it went after the talons. In the fleet command thing (Tab) it said it was intercepting and had an arrow pointing to the lasher but was flying in the opposite direction towards the talons. It did this untill they retreated when it finally turned round and stopped the lasher from kiting me. I don't know if this is a bug or because i didn't have elite crew but it seemed pretty odd to me. Any thoughts?

^^ Good idea, the mechanic for hard flux has been catching people out alot. I know seasoned pros who only just learn't about it. making it more obvious is a good way to draw attention to it. Also i suggest putting it into the tips on the main menu.

Yea the fly-over, while looking alright is a bit annoying for PD and such having to turn 180 degrees to hit them and the fact that they can just no clip to your engines and take them out

Speaking of that, the search function could be improved greatly its rather annoying atm to try and search something. Personally i would make a separate game pretty much, so they wouldn't be integrated same game but different clients and everything.

It looks like the counter-flare chance is increased by a flat 50% (so a 15% chance would become a 65% chance, for example). I'm assuming the guidance gets a 100% boost from base; at least, that's what the (unused) tooltip implies. Smiley

Edit: Actually, the guidance is also modified by a flat amount. I'm not sure how that works, because I don't know what units guidance uses. Sorry.

Not a bad point, i have bee running around with my dual antimatter strike frigate and although fun and potentially very dangerous, one or two harpoons would destroy it. So, keeping the same hull quantities but buffing the amour quite a lot would be nice. Although it may have to have a special kind of armor as they are high tech. like Phase Armor? instead of cloaking you it gives you a massive amour buff for a few seconds then say, 30 second cooldown?
