Seriously, I am just a honest not-so-much law biding merchant who supporting freedom fighters. I didn't deserved what this game just did to me, nobody deserved it. All I did was one mistake, I am innocent.
It was that one time when I was just some nameless guy. I loaded 500 cargo of heavy armament to support the faithful knights of Ludic Path. Everything was going smoothly, however I still have 1000 cargo hold and I was hoping to fill it up. Luckily some lady at the bar had exactly 1000 organics and she offered 100k for safe delivery to Katheron at Thule, and it just so happen that I was going to drop by Thulian Raiders to pick up their "medical supplies". Seriously, the deal couldn't get any better so I grabbed it.
Unfortunately by the time I reached Thule system, boom, my investors of the Hegemony declared war with the Persean League. I didn't want to pick any fight with the Persean League cause they still my major business partner. Let just say the Persean League wasn't really in good form and it was unlikely they let me off the hook if I hit again. So I decided that it wasn't worth smuggling the organics past the Persean League, so I decided to sacrifice some reputation with the gray-ish guys. I cancel the quest and drop off all the organics at Thulian raider base. Nothing happened afterward, the raider paid 20k, kinda sad that I didn't get 100k from those organics but I didn't lose anything either. In contrary I thought I should do this more frequently when I running low on cash by just grabbing cargo from the bar and dumb them at the local market. To bad I didn't get any chance to that again, quest stop appearing at the bar. I didn't really care about them, trading weapon and medical supplies are my main income. I thought it was the worse outcome that could happened.
2 in-game years later, roughly 2 days of grinding, I managed to strike a deal with the Hegemony. They finally agree to sell me their biggest baddest battleship that guarantee to keep everyone away from my cargo ships. I stop caring what the Persean League and Tri-Tachyon think about me, since their patrol fleets can't stop me from docking their star base. I thought I did it, no one can stop me now.
And then it happened. That *** I met at the hub the other day sent a massive fleet at me. I didn't know why a merc fleet was after me, and I thought nobody could fight me at that point so I didn't turn off the transponders. The mercs told me if I remember that lady and the organic cargo I was entrusted. Their fleet was bigger than anything I have seen and they forced me to watch my baby battleship get swarmed by 10+ cruisers shooting lasers at all direction. That it's, game over. I rate this *** game my fleet size after the massacre out of ten.
