I do have Random Assortment of things, but my version of it is 1.5.2 and I've closed and reopened the game many times, though if by "restart"  you mean I need to start a new save, then that might be the cause

After an independent Roider base got destroyed in combat(was being chased by a pirate fleet spawned for a dead drop mission and the base joined in the fight), it seems to be crashing a few minutes later when, I assume, it tries to create a new independent Roider base.  This prevents me from continuing my save game cause it crashes a minute or two after starting.  There are quite a few mods and nexerelin, I'm not using nex's random sector, and im using jre8.

The mod really helps to make the game feel more alive, its really nice that there are stations out in unexplored areas that aren't some manner of evil.  The crashing is unfortunate though. if you need anything else to fix this, I'd be happy to help.

edit: changing roider_minIndieRoiderBases, roider_maxIndieRoiderBases, roider_maxRoiderFringeHQs to 0 in the config did not fix the issue

love the unique ships and designs in this mod, and while the giant train freighter is a really cool concept, the ai appears to completely ignore it, crash into it, and explode almost instantly.  so any battle involving it results in about a quarter of my fleet suiciding into it.

Will the first part of the tournament be available to watch on youtube/twitch after it is finished for those who won't be able to watch it live?

How would I go about making it so that every ship that is disabled in a battle is not destroyed and can be repaired?  I've tried editing the field repairs reconstruction perk in SkillData.java (FIELD_REPAIRS_DISABLED_REPAIR_PERCENTAGE = 100f) so that there is a 100% chance to repair disabled friendly ships after battle but it seems to only repair one ship per battle.

Alex, are you guys still adding new content and large features to this patch, or are you guys just bug testing and polishing it?

When determining how far away the release is, would you estimate it using days, weeks, or months?

Found a bug you might want to know about since it isn't in the known bugs section.  Basically I attacked a pirate planet for my own faction and my marines failed me.  I was then able to get to the planet's opening screen (the one that asks you if you want to trade, refit ships, look at mission postings, ect.) by choosing the option "cancel" and then "back" even though the planet will not let me trade with them due to fighting nearby/being an enemy.  Attempting to trade then resulted in whats on the image and I had to close the game since it did not give me any options after "you decide to" and there was no way to exit.

I'm getting some sort of crash when fighting against knights templar fleets with allies. It only happens about 20% of the time but it seems entirely random as I'll get the crash save load, join the same fight and not get the crash.

I'm getting the same error as him and its happening fairly frequently. Only mods I use are nexerelin and starsector+.  I don't want to sound rude and I appreciate what you're doing, but when are you planning on releasing Version 0.9.5g
